How do you protect furniture?

 

We use specially designed padded moving blankets.

 

 

Can you disconnect/connect my appliances?

 

Yes, we can except for gas appliances.

 

 

Are you a part of any organisation?

 

Yes, we’re a part of AIM – The Alliance if Independent Movers.

 

 

Can you dismantle/reassemble my furniture?

 

Yes, we can.

 

 

Do you do free home surveys?

 

Yes, please give us a call to arrange a time slot.

 

 

How do I book my move?

 

All we require is a deposit as well as a date and time for the move.

 

 

Can you arrange a parking suspension?

 

Yes, we can. This is available on request.

 

 

When do you take payment?

 

The remaining balance is due to be paid just before unloading on fixed price jobs and straight after unloading on hourly jobs.

 

 

Do you move pianos?

 

Yes, we do. We also provide specially designed piano covers for extra protection.

 

 

Do you provide storage?

 

Yes, we do. Please give us a call to discuss this further.

 

 

Are you able to dispose some items for me?

 

Yes, we can.

 

 

What insurance does Best Rate Removals offer?

 

A free basic insurance is included in every move we do covering you for up to £40.00 an item. Premium insurance for up to £50,000 is provided at a cost of 7.5% of the total amount of the move but not less than £15.00. Higher insurance cover can be provided on request.

 

 

Do you do evening moves?

 

Yes, we do at a slight extra cost.

 

 

What happens if the move takes longer than what I’ve been quoted?

 

We will stay with you to complete the job. Additional time will be charged in 30 minute increments at the same rate.

 

 

What size vehicles do you have?

 

We have various sizes to undertake any kind of move. Please find a list of our vehicles and their sizes:

 

 

1- Transit Van (150 Cu Ft) – small moves – few pieces only.

 

2- 3.5 tonne Luton Van (550 Cu Ft) - 1-2 bedrooms.

 

3- 3.5 tonne High Capacity Luton Van (800 Cu Ft) - 2-3 bedrooms.

 

4- 7.5 tonne Truck (1200 Cu Ft) – 3-4 bedrooms.

 

5- 12.5 tonne Truck (1400 Cu Ft) – 4+ bedrooms.
